Test browser prototypes, poke holes in the UX, and decide what ships to guests next. This page is for Donna, staff and partners.
Prototypes to try
Live Tamagotchi
Get To Feed Animals
Adopt a sanctuary animal, keep them alive with daily mini-games, earn food from short/long ads, queue real feeds.
- Is the adopt screen clear for first-time kids?
- Do hunger decay / ad rewards feel fair?
- Does ‘queue real feed’ feel trustworthy?
Live prototype
QR scan companion
Paste/scan enclosure codes, animal cards, visit passport stamps, links into GTFA.
- Should camera scanning be native next?
- Is the passport motivating enough for schools?
- How loud should tip/adopt CTAs be?
Uses real animal codes
Enclosure QR page
Open any animal in admin → QR labels, or pick from Animals and use Enclosure QR page.
- Mobile readability at the enclosure?
- Video + gallery balance?
- One-tap treat conversion?
Free assets for a prettier prototype
Show owners the ad-funded loop quickly with CC0 / free packs — then swap in sanctuary photos and brand art. Full list + revenue maths live in the staff backend.
- Kenney.nl — CC0 animals, UI, nature
- OpenGameArt — sprites & SFX (check licence)
- itch.io free assets — casual 2D packs
- Mixkit — reward / UI sounds
Critique checklist
- Fun in under 30 seconds without a tutorial
- Works on a mid-range Android phone on sanctuary Wi‑Fi
- Never confuses play money with real animal welfare promises
- Staff can fulfil GTFA feeds without chaos (Admin → GTFA feeds)
- Patreon email link is obvious
- Accessible contrast and large tap targets
Embedded play (quick look)
Full-screen play is better on phones — use the launch buttons above. This iframe is for desktop critique side-by-side with notes.
